The Expedition Begins in Bologna: come and try SAPROMETE® at the Festival del Gioco!

The countdown is over. After months of preparation and laboratory simulations, the SAPROMETE® planetary extraction protocol is ready for its first public mission.

Welcome to the Future, Pioneers

From 22 to 24 May, our Expedition Group will be heading to Bologna Play 2026 with the aim of gathering as many Explorers as possible and setting off for a remote planet.

Our outpost will be located at:

Look out for the SAPROMETE banner: if you see some Captains ready to dismantle an entire planet, you’ve reached your destination.

What’s on offer at our tables?

At our stand, you can immerse yourself completely in the year 8000 AD, in a setting that combines the optimism of abundance and progress with dystopian control, and experience first-hand a new competitive dungeon crawler for 2–4 players:

• Dismantle the Board: make your way down towards the Planet’s Core by removing the Paving Tiles to reveal the paths and dangers hidden beneath the surface.
• Mine and Build: collect minerals and resources to craft the tools you need to drill through the deepest layers.
• Recruit new Companions: as your Reputation grows, you’ll be able to recruit specialised Pioneers with unique abilities; your success will depend on how skilfully you manage your Expedition Group.
• The Planet will not stand idly by: as you make your way towards the centre of the planet, the Monsters will become more aggressive and harder to defeat, the environmental hazards will become more hostile, and the Council of Humanity will set you increasingly complex objectives.

Who will be the most effective captain?

Bologna Play is the final major event before the launch of our crowdfunding campaign and is the perfect opportunity to talk to our designers about the future of the game.

Come and show the Council that you are the Captains that humanity needs.
